You Will Be Surprised How Accurate This Picture Is (I Have A Nicer Hat Though)

Who Am I?

Now there's a question.

SHORT VERSION.
Me Auto-electrician very long time. Me very good, me very cheap, give me work.

Please???

LONG, CONVALUTED COMA INDUCING VERSION.

Where do I start.

I got got into auto-electrics at the age of 13 by accident. I was at the time on a mission to repair the starter off of a 1958 Morris Pickup Conversion.

The deal was I had to do it myself. I walked into an auto-electical business one afternoon after school and never really left going in everday after shool and in the holidays. They evetually deiced i wasdnt going away so put me to work. I went full time after completing school and qualified there in 1990 aged  20.

I learned not only to do my job there but i learned how to properly treat vehicles and the people that drive them. You will quickly see I am not after a quuck buck and in fact do things in quite the opposite way.

Whilst I am working on your car be it for yourself ot for a customer it is the only thing I think about. If it is a complex job you may receive emails at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning (I never text at that time) asking questions or making suggestions or me wanting to make off the clock changes because I am unhappy with the way I have done something even though it may be perfectly fine it may not be PERFECT in my eyes.

If you are prepared to put up with that annoyance for a short while then at the end of the job you will have something we can both be proud. For me the pride is in making it seem I was never there and for you it is having a car that is electrically 100%.

You dont want to open then engine compartment of your vehicle and for everybody to notice a mess of wiring when they are supposed to be admiring the horses hidden under the bonnet. You want to get into the cae and make those horses roar for your admirng visitor and not have a dead donkey instead.

You dont want to push the horn button and get a windscreen wash (or a face full of window cleaner (heres looking at you roadster owners).

If you have electric windows you want thew darn tings to go back up after you put them down.

It is my job to make sure you get the best out of your vehicle and I take that task very seriously.

As far as the kindness thing well that is for you to see for yourself  if there is any truth to that part of my learning.

So yes that is a bit about me.
